Beta Theta Pi’s mission is to develop men of principle for a principled life, with the vision that every member will live the fraternity’s values. Rooted in friendship and brotherhood, Betas uphold five core values:

Beta Theta Pi is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive brotherhood where every member feels accepted and valued. The Fraternity actively works to educate members and volunteers to combat discrimination and bias, while encouraging greater understanding and addressing inequities when they arise. Beta Theta Pi does not tolerate racism, homophobia, sexism, xenophobia, or any other discriminatory behavior, and upholds restorative and appropriate accountability when such actions occur.
