INTERFRATERNITY COUNCIL (IFC)

The Interfraternity Council at the Colorado School of Mines is a self-governing organization designed to address the needs to member fraternities and foster positive and sustainable relationships between fraternities, sororities, and the Mines campus at large.

Recruitment/intake Registration

Recruitment week is the most popular time when chapters are looking for new members to join their organization. The week is agreed upon each semester by the Interfraternity Council with chapter representation. While one of our organizations has a separate process called intake, primary recruitment will take place from September 5th through the 12th. During this time, all recognized chapters will be hosting events at their houses or other locations on campus or in the Golden area. In order to help all those interested in join a chapter, we have a registration form included below. Please complete the form in order to be able to participate in recruitment. Registration is free and allows IFC to be able to let you know when events are taking place and to answer any questions as you look at different chapter.

If you have any quesitons about recruitment, please reach out to ifc@mines.edu and we will be happy to help you. Please keep an eye out for events like M-Climb, FSL Block Party, and Celebration of Mines on the IFC Instagram page for dates and locations.
