The Mines Fraternity & Sorority Life Office believes in providing well-rounded education to its members that offers training in risk management, well-being, and other areas of prevention. You can take a look at some of the options that are provided below.

Here are some important reminders and parameters:

– Active members are the only ones who are required to attend. Status is based on your roster provided to the FSL office.

– A fine of $25 per member will be issued to each chapter. Your chapter president will have a running list to see who has completed their education and who has not.

– inactive members and current new members are not required to attend.

– Chapters will not be able to host their own private event to count towards the risk menu due to too high of demand and our campus partners not being able to meet those needs anymore. Feel free to continue to partner with campus partners on smaller programs; it just won’t count towards the risk menu. 

– events must be completed by December 4th. Invoices need to be paid by December 19th to continue to be in good standing.

– it’s the members’ responsiblity to provide proof and/or sign-in to the event you attend. Failure to send in proof by the deadline will result in the fine standing.

-make sure you are signed in early or arrive early (no later than 5 minutes past the start time)
