SIGMA PHI EPSILON (𝚺ɸE)
About
SigEp is redefining fraternity on college campuses across the country. We complement a man’s education by delivering a premier student experience in one of the most formative times of his life. Through SigEp, men strengthen their character, build leadership and interpersonal skills, and learn to develop healthy, lifelong relationships that are essential to a successful and fulfilling life.
SigEp was founded with the Cardinal Principles of Virtue, Diligence and Brotherly Love. Our mission is “Building Balanced Men,” which is achieved through a commitment to Sound Mind and Sound Body. We are committed to working with our host institutions as a valued partner in higher education.
deia position statement
As per the national chapter bylaws of Sigma Phi Epsilon:Â
“Eligibility for membership shall not, in any way, be affected or determined by race, color, religion, age, physical disability, ethnic background, sexual orientation, creed, or national origin.Â
Limitation of membership to a small, selective group of men, and the exclusion of women from membership is deemed to be consistent with the purposes for which the Fraternity was founded and Article I hereof.”Â
These rules being established over a hundred years ago, modern terminology finds it somewhat broad. Therefore, the Colorado Delta chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon defines men who may be permitted to join to be anyone who is male identifying.Â
